1 br/1 bath available in a 2/2 in a great high rise apt! VA Square

Hello - I am moving out of the high-rise life into a townhouse and am looking to move out from my apartment by the beginning of March, however that can be flexible. I am looking for someone to take over my lease. I've lived in the apartment for 3 1/2 years and my really have loved the area and my roommate, who is awesome. The place and the roomie are definitely keepers and I will miss them both. About the room: This is the second bedroom in a 2BR 2BA apartment in Quincy Plaza on 3900 Fairfax Drive, Arlington VA 22203. The bedroom itself is 11 x 13.6, not including the walk-in closet and the bathroom. Just to give you an idea of the amount of space - in the bedroom, I have room for a large desk for work space, a full size bed, 2 dressers and a nightstand. The walk-in closet is huge and also has shelves behind the racks for more storage. The bathroom includes a large shower with a seat and extra cabinets for storage. About the apartment: I furnished the entire living room and am planning to take most of it with me, but could be open to selling it for a fair price if desired. Otherwise, the 2 of you can work it out. :) There is a washer, dryer, and dishwasher in the unit. We have a balcony off the living room as well as a second balcony off the master bedroom. Kitchen appliances are also all available including a microwave, toaster, dishes, utensils, and lots of pots and pans. Utilities are a set amount, $105 total each month (split between the 2 roommates). The Internet bill (and Netflix/Hulu) is separate. The building has a great gym, a pool, a community room and a business room with a printer, plus wifi throughout the first floor.About the location: The apartment is a 5-min walk from both Ballston metro station and Virginia Square metro station on the orange line. There are 2 large supermarkets (Harris Teeter and Giant) in walking distance. Across the street, there is a public park with tennis courts, basketball courts, and the like. Behind the park, there is the Central public library. There is a running track nearby too at Washington Lee high school available for public use. Clarendon is a short walk away, with lots of restaurant and bar options. Ballston also has a number of restaurants and bars. About your potential roomie: My roommate and I are a Craigslist success story - she is super awesome! Easy to live with and always up for great conversation. She is a 23-year old second year graduate student at Marymount -- but don't let her age fool you, she's definitely mature for her age! She is smart, sweet, clean and easy to get along with. We also have our own groups of friends in DC and are good about giving one another space whenever we need to for work/decompressing. Please reply to this message with some information about you. Happy to work to set up a phone chat and/or viewing of the apartment. I'm looking for someone to take over my lease by March 1st (but again, can be flexible). May be willing to work out a deal for the first month to make your rent cheaper by a bit if I find someone who is great and willing to take over the lease quickly. Total monthly rent would be $1400, plus $88ish (I'm in the process of negotiating a lower rate with Comcast) for internet, electric and amenities (if still on month-to-month). You can also choose to get a parking space in the garage for $50 per month. Thanks!
